This marked the first electoral loss in Kharge's extensive political career spanning several decades. The BJP has once again nominated Jadhav from the segment.</p> <p>Speculation is rife that Kharge, the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, may not contest the upcoming polls. Instead, the Congress is likely to field his son-in-law Radhakrishna Doddamani, a businessman and manager of educational institutions.</p> <p>Following his visit to Kalaburagi, PM Modi is slated to visit Shivamogga on March 18, the home district of veteran BJP leader BS Yediyurappa. Additionally, Yediyurappa's other son, Y Vijayendra, who represents the Shikaripura assembly constituency in the district, serves as the state BJP President.</p> <p>PM Modi's visits to these key regions underscore the BJP's strategic approach towards the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka, aiming to consolidate its hold in these crucial constituencies.</p> <h3><strong>Dhankhar To Visit Hyderabad Today</strong></h3> <p>The office of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has announced his upcoming two-day visit to Hyderabad, commencing on Saturday.</p> <p>As per the statement from the vice president's secretariat on Friday, Dhankhar will serve as the chief guest at the valedictory ceremony of the 'Global Spirituality Mahotsav' held at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad on Saturday.</p> <h3><strong>Two-Day Flower Food Festival Of NDMC Begins Today</strong></h3> <p>The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is set to host a two-day Flower Food Festival at the Palika Services Officers Institute in Chanakyapuri, starting Saturday.</p> <p>Promising a distinctive gastronomic journey, the festival will showcase culinary delights infused with the exquisite flavours of flowers.</p> <p>This festival serves as the culmination of a series of successful events, including the tulip festival, music in the park, rose festival, and flower festival, all of which have received widespread acclaim from various segments of society.</p> <p>The festival will be open to all visitors from 12 pm to 9 pm.
