The roadshow is scheduled to commence at 8.30 am from Kottamaidan anchuvilakku, proceeding towards the Head Post Office in the town, they said.Ahead of Modi's roadshow, the BJP is scheduled to host a bike rally in the town today evening.Modi's Palakkad roadshow follows his recent participation at a public meeting in Pathanamthitta town on March 15, where he rallied support for NDA candidates contesting in the southern Kerala constituencies.</p> <p><strong>Lok Sabha polls: CWC To Meet On March 19 To Give Nod To Manifesto</strong></p> <p>The Congress Working Committee (CWC) will discuss the party's manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections at its meeting on March 19 and give the final shape to it. The Congress' central election committee (CEC) chaired by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge is also likely to meet on March 19 to 20 to finalise the remaining candidates of the party for the seven-phase polls beginning April 19.</p> <p>AICC general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the CWC, its top decision-making body, would meet on March 19 and give its nod to the draft manifesto which carries the five 'guarantees' for justice. He said the party will fight the elections on the issue of 'five nyay' (justice) -- 'Bhagidari Nyay', 'Kisan Nyay', 'Nari Nyay', 'Shramik Nyay' and 'Yuva Nyay' -- with 25 guarantees, five for each nyay, which have already been announced by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former president Rahul Gandhi.</p> <p><strong>Cong to name candidates for remaining 18 Lok Sabha seats in MP on Tuesday: Functionary</strong></p> <p>The Congress will declare its candidates for the remaining 18 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday after a meeting of its Central Election Committee (CEC) which will finalise the third list of nominees for the April-May polls, a senior party functionary said on Monday.The grand old party has left one seat, Khajuraho, bordering Uttar Pradesh, for its INDIA alliance partner Samajwadi Party which is yet to announce its candidate for the constituency.Madhya Pradesh has 29 Lok Sabha seats and the BJP has nominated candidates on all of them, while the Congress has released 10 names so far in the state and 18 contestants remain to be finalised.</p> <p>Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is scheduled to chair a CEC meeting on Tuesday in New Delhi to take a final call on the remaining 18 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, the party's state unit media cell chief, KK Mishra, told PTI.The screening committee has already forwarded the names of candidates to the party's poll panel, he added.We are sure that the party will nominate the rest of the candidates tomorrow (Tuesday) as our leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Nyay Yatra has concluded, Mishra added.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
