<p><strong>Breaking News Live:</strong> Please follow this space for all the breaking news and latest updates from India and around the world.</p> <h3><strong>PM Modi To Attend 'Parakram Diwas' Celebrations At Red Fort Today:&nbsp;</strong></h3> <p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 'Parakram Diwas' celebrations at the Red Fort on Tuesday evening, which will commemorate the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose.</p> <p>The prime minister's office (PMO) announced that Modi will also launch 'Bharat Parv', which will take place between January 23 and January 31, to highlight the country's rich diversity with Republic Day tableaux and cultural exhibits featuring the efforts of 26 ministries and departments, highlighting citizen-centric initiatives, and advocating for local, diverse tourist attractions, among other things.</p> <p>The event will be held at Ram Leela Maidan and Madhav Das Park in front of the Red Fort, according to the PMO.</p> <p>This year's programme will be a multifaceted celebration, seamlessly weaving together historical reflections and vibrant cultural expressions, it said.</p> <h3><strong>Congress To Hold Silent Protests Across Rajasthan Against 'Attack' On Nyay Yatra In Assam</strong></h3> <p>The Rajasthan Congress announced Monday that it will hold a'silent satyagraha' in district headquarters across the state on January 23 to protest the alleged attack on Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam.</p> <p>It also accused the BJP and Assam's government of attempting to disrupt the yatra.</p> <p>The Congress claimed on Sunday that its leaders were "attacked" by BJP supporters during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, with Gandhi, who was heckled by a crowd chanting slogans like "Jai Shri Ram" and "Modi, Modi," asserting that his party is not afraid of the prime minister or the Assam chief minister.</p> <p>A Congress spokesperson claimed that the BJP and the Assam government attempted to halt Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.</p> <p>"BJP members are causing disruptions by attacking the yatra. All district Congress committees will protest this by holding a'silent satyagraha' from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday in front of Mahatma Gandhi statues or portraits in all district headquarters," he told news agency PTI.</p> <h3><strong>Maratha Quota: Mega Survey With More Than 1.25 Lakh Enumerators To Begin Today</strong></h3> <p>A mandatory survey of over 1.25 lakh enumerators and officials will begin across Maharashtra on Tuesday to support the state government's curative petition in the Supreme Court for Maratha quota.</p> <p>State revenue minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said on Monday that enumerators have been instructed to ensure that the process, which will continue until January 31, is error-free.</p> <p>"More than 1.25 lakh enumerators, including superintendents and officials, have been assigned to complete the work. Their training is over. The survey will begin on Tuesday and continue until January 31 in all 36 districts, 27 municipal corporations, and seven cantonment boards across the state," Vikhe Patil said in a statement, according to PTI.</p>
