The report, sealed since its submission on December 18, is at the center of a legal dispute between Hindu and Muslim parties.

The ASI, on Wednesday, requested the court to withhold the report from public scrutiny for an additional four weeks, as disclosed by Madan Mohan Yadav, the lawyer representing the Hindu side. PTI reported. Varanasi District Court Judge A K Vishvesh initially postponed the decision until Thursday. However, due to the judge's prior engagement in an event related to Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, the matter was rescheduled for Friday.

The court ordered the scientific survey of the Gyanvapi premises, situated adjacent to the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi, in response to claims by petitioners that the 17th-century mosque was built over the remains of a Hindu temple. The ASI's report holds significant importance in determining the historical and religious context of the site.

Delhi Court to Hear Police Plea for Polygraph Test of Parliament Security Breach Accused

A Delhi court will hear today the application filed by the Delhi Police seeking permission to conduct a polygraph test on the six individuals arrested in connection with the December 13 Parliament security breach, as per IANS.
