<p><strong>Breaking News Live:</strong> Please follow this space for all the breaking news and latest updates from India and around the world.</p> <h3 class="hdg1">UP Declares 'No Non-Veg' Day On November 25</h3> <p>The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government designated November 25 as "no non-veg day" in honour of Sadhu TL Vaswani's birth anniversary, news agency ANI reported.</p> <p>According to a state government statement, all slaughterhouses and meat stores will be closed on Saturday.</p> <p>&ldquo;It is to inform that the birth anniversaries of our country&rsquo;s great men who propounded the Doctrine of Non-Violence are celebrated as &lsquo;Non-Violence&rsquo; days. As we celebrate Mahavir Jayanti, Buddha Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti and Sadhu TL Vaswani Jayanti, the UP government has been issuing notifications to keep the slaughterhouses closed in the state,&rdquo; the notification of the UP government said.</p> <p>&ldquo;On the occasion of birth anniversary of Sadhu TL Vaswani on November 25, 2023, it has been decided that all the slaughterhouses will remain closed,&rdquo; the notification read.</p> <p>The administration has directed that the order be aggressively enforced throughout the state.</p> <h3><strong>Haryana Schools To Remain Shut On November 25 In View Of Rajasthan Assembly Election</strong></h3> <p>Due to the November 25 Rajasthan assembly elections, the Haryana state government has proclaimed a paid holiday or Special Casual Leave (paid) for all offices, educational institutions, and other establishments across the state. On November 25, the general election for the Rajasthan legislative assembly will be conducted. Employees, students, and other organisations are encouraged to remain in touch with their individual institutions for more information on the situation.</p> <p>"Human Resources Department, all offices, Educational and other institutes of the Government of Haryana, Board &amp; Corporations under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 and under section 135-B of the representation of the People Act, 1951(amended in 8/1996) will remain closed on the day of General Election for&nbsp; Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, 2023," reads the official notice issued by the Haryana Government.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
