German-Israeli Woman Paraded By Gun-Toting Hamas Fighters, Family Still Hopeful: Report

The motionless body of an unconscious German-Israeli woman was paraded around by Hamas militants after they took her hostage following an attack on a music festival in Israel. The war between the two sides is sending horrific pictures from the ground showing the brutality of Gaza terrorists in the Israeli region. According to a CNN report, videos on social media show a German-Israeli woman, Shani Louk, being paraded on a truck amidst a crowd of fighters celebrating and shouting "Allah Akbar".

According to the New York Post, some in the crowd spat on the woman’s body before the truck sped away after a massive surprise attack by Hamas on Israeli defence forces and civilians.

Louk's family confirmed they had seen the video, adding that they "still have some kind of hope" that she had survived. "We recognised her by the tattoos, and she has long dreadlocks," Tom Weintraub Louk, Shani Louk’s cousin, told The Washington Post.

According to the Washington Post, Shani had posted a close-up of the tattoos a day earlier on her Instagram before she'd left for the party. Her family said they desperately tried to reach her Mexican boyfriend, but they couldn’t get through.

Louk was attending an outdoor music festival near Kibbutz Urim when militants stormed the area, The Post reported. In the video, not all men were seen in uniforms. Later in the morning, another cousin sent a video that showed Shani in the back of a pickup truck.

"She’s lying there on the jeep of Hamas with armed people," said Louk's cousin as quoted by the Post, adding "We recognized her by the tattoos, and she has long dreadlocks."

Many distressing videos have come forth since Hamas launched an attack on Israel killing over 300 persons. Israel too began counter operation 'Iron Sword' killing nearly 200 in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has meanwhile asked the residents in Gaza to leave the region as his forces will launch a 'full forceful' operation.

ALSO READ | <a style="color: #e03e2d;" href="https://ift.tt/ZcHFkUe Security Questioned After Hamas Surprise Attack.
